There is a story told from ancient times that the dunes on Puerto Nuevo’s
shores never existed. One day without explanation a breeze mysteriously carried
sand from a small fishing village more than 200 miles east to this
oceanfront locale. The miracle forever changed the landscape, creating
the beach, lagoons and estuary along this stretch of the Baja Peninsula.
Today, it is the perfect setting for our resort community.
